It was another beutiful spring day, so I decided to go to the roof top of our building and take a photo of the view. On the distance towering over the rest of the cathedral neighboorhood is of course the National Cathedral.

We decided to brave the flocks of thousands of tourist to go and check out the Cherry Blossom by the monuments today. Having the Scooter came in very handy in avoiding the traffic.

My work deadline is finally done, just in time for the weekend. Went to eat some Peruvian chicken and took this HDR photo of the Bethesda Metro escalators on my way back home.

Fun fact about the escalators in the DC metro:  The Wheaton station, on the Red Line, has the second-longest continuous escalator in the world (longest in the Western Hemisphere), at 230 feet.  The Metro system also has the the third-longest continuous escalator in the world (205 feet) at the Rosslyn station.

I had spoken about the Brad Meltzer books I was buying a few weeks ago here. So today I decided to take some photos of the books I've read of his so far, The Zero Game, The Tenth Justice and currently reading The Book of Fate.

I'm a sucker for books that take place in DC.
