Unfortunately the original dedication ceremony of the new Martin Luther King Jr. memorial was canceled on August 28th due to hurricane Irene. A new date has been announced for October 16th. About a week before the original dedication date I was lucky enough to get a quick peek at the memorial thru the fence.
