Notice a band playing on one of the triangle parks while picking up Claudia after work.
We decided to investigate and found out King James and the Serfs of Swing (aka GWU Jazz Band) was having a small park performance that was drawning in quite the croud of pedestrians. We listen for a bit, and snapped some photos of the very talented group.

65-365 "Light Painted Heart"
Decided to try some "light" painting tonight. Used a laser pointer aimed at a blank canvas with the camera set to a 15 second exposure, and then firing a flash to light the easel.
This is the one that turned out the best, after finding out just how hard it is to draw without seeing the lines you are drawing......

With the window posts done, I am back to making it up as I go along. Here is a photo of our scotter with a slight reflection of me.
10 Residence’s in DC of our time
If you have been following the posts, you will have noticed the last 10 photos posted have all been of windows. While DC is best known for its civic buildings and monuments; recently I have been more interested on the residential architecture of DC. So I compiled a list of the 10 residences I find most interesting. As is my inclination I focused on, let’s just say houses of our time, for lack of a better term contemporary houses.

45-365 "Windows #2"
Like yesterdays photo and the next few ones, more on this later, but clearly a theme might begin to become obvious for the week.
This also shot as an HDR in order to get good definition on the brick.

44-365 "Windows #1"
Looking to go with a bit of a theme for the week, hopefully it works out well and at the end of the week a special post I've been working on.

43-365 "Roof top View"
It was another beutiful spring day, so I decided to go to the roof top of our building and take a photo of the view. On the distance towering over the rest of the cathedral neighboorhood is of course the National Cathedral.

We decided to brave the flocks of thousands of tourist to go and check out the Cherry Blossom by the monuments today. Having the Scooter came in very handy in avoiding the traffic.

41-365 "Going up"
My work deadline is finally done, just in time for the weekend. Went to eat some Peruvian chicken and took this HDR photo of the Bethesda Metro escalators on my way back home.
Fun fact about the escalators in the DC metro: The Wheaton station, on the Red Line, has the second-longest continuous escalator in the world (longest in the Western Hemisphere), at 230 feet. The Metro system also has the the third-longest continuous escalator in the world (205 feet) at the Rosslyn station.
